Settings #
Enable Electronic Documents #
Allow your store to generate and send electronic documents.
Document Types #
Select the e-documents that will require the corresponding PDF to be generated first.
Send Attachments #
When sending a document by e-mail, automatically include the electronic version attachment along with the PDF.
Preferred Syntax #
Choose the preferred XML syntax standard for electronic documents.

Include Item Meta Data #
This setting determines whether product item meta data (such as custom fields or additional information linked to each order line) should be included in the generated e-document. When enabled, the meta data is embedded under each order line, allowing additional product or service details to be transmitted along with the structured document.
Embed Encrypted PDF #
Embed the encrypted PDF invoice file within the e-document. Note that this is only available for the following formats:
- UBL 2.1
- PEPPOL BIS 3.0
Enable XML Preview #
Enable the XML preview for electronic documents. Back at the PDF Preview, a new ‘XML‘ button appears.
Click the XML button in order to observe the XML Preview instead of the PDF Preview.
Enable Debug Logs #
Enable logging for debugging purposes.
- The WooCommerce logs can be found at WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
- The e-document logs will be titled:
wpo-ips-edi.
Identifiers #
Supplier #
This screen will display the required shop supplier information as a table.
Customer #
Requires providing an order ID in order to search for the customer of the order.
The result then appears as a table.
